Ahead of the second Test in Centurion, Team India visited the India House in the city of Johannesburg in South Africa where the visitors met India’s High Commissioner Ruchira Kamboj owing to the dinner invitation.
Interestingly, the Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has uploaded the multiple photographs.
On the other side, including Hardik Pandya, Murali Vijay and Karnataka-based batsman KL Rahul have posed for the photographs with fans following the gruelling net session in a bid to turn the things in their favour in the impending Test fixture.
Moreover, the players also met the Proteas former Test cricketer Ali Bacher.
Pertinently, the Team India sweated out in nets early morning to gear up for the all-important clash at the SuperSport Park which will be beginning on Saturday (January 13). Head coach Ravi Shastri was on the task to monitor the players during the training while players further opted for the football session following fielding drills.
After the promising start, visitors started off the proceeding not with the ball but holding the willow which saw the batting coach Sanjay Bangar working hard with Bhuvneshawar Kumar in particular followed by Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.
In Cape Town Test, the batting had been the cause of concern for both the teams, but Kohli is looking forward to leading from the front and set an example, as the overseas conditions have been considered tough when it comes to batting in particular.
Earlier, Kohli had already made it clear by saying they are working hard and give their best in the penultimate Test, as Jasprit Bumrah remarked they are ready to respond the challenge after cherishing the home success.
It is high-likely that Kohli could make a change or so in the second Test, as most of the times he did not field the same team in the past fixtures as a leader.
