The Dressing Room Feels Empty Without You: KL Rahul To Hardik Pandya

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have endured a tough time off the field together this year. 2019 started on a bad note for the two as they landed in controversy for their comments on a popular television chat show. Both the players were asked to return home from the tour of Australia and were suspended immediately.
Fortunately, they were later let off with a fine and made it to the World Cup. Both Pandya and KL Rahul did well in the tournament although they could not take the team all the way in the competition. But throughout this entire period, their friendship has only grown stronger and the two India stars proved it once again on Wednesday.

After the third T20I against West Indies, opener KL Rahul, who played a scintillating knock in the series-clinching win, revealed that he misses the allrounder in the dressing room. Hardik last played for India during the T20I series against South Africa at home in September and underwent back surgery in October.
“We are waiting for you to come back quickly, the dressing room feels empty without you at least for me, don’t know about the rest,” Rahul said while interacting with Hardik after India’s 67-run win over West Indies in the series decider at the Wankhede.
“You and (Jasprit) Bumrah are so important to the team. Hopefully, you guys recover and come back soon,” he added.
In reply, Pandya said:“They (other teammates) are also feeling the same, they told me off-camera.”
Here is the video of that interaction posted by BCCI:

India thrash West Indies:
Riding on KL Rahul’s 91-run knock and whirlwind fifties from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, India thrashed West Indies by 67 runs in the third T20I to clinch the series 2-1. Asked to bat first, India finished their innings on a mammoth total of 240 for 3. In reply, West Indies could only manage to score 173 for 8 despite their skipper Kieron Pollard scoring a quickfire fifty.
