For the first time in the Cricket history, three Indian bowlers of Indian Women Cricket Team has found a place in the Top 10 Chart of ICC Women’s ODI ranking. The senior-most Jhulan Goswami, the young leg-spinner Poonam Yadav and the fast bowler Shikha Pandey are the three bowlers, who found a place in the Top 10 chart.

Poonam Yadav climbed to 8th in ICC Women’s ODI Rankings:

Goswami is the highest-ranked Indian in the list at sixth place with 692 points, while Poonam Yadav climbed to eighth spot with 680 points after impressing in the series against South Africa and ongoing series against West Indies. Shikha Pandey drops to 9th position but still has an impressive 676 points to her name.

In batting chart, Smriti Mandhana’s 74 in the final game earned her the Player of the Match award. And also, the knock helped her cross 2000 career ODI runs. But, unfortunately, she has dropped three places to fifth on the batting charts, having missed the first two games recovering from injury.

Returning to the ODI squad after recovering from a toe injury that kept her on the sidelines during home series vs South Africa, Smriti Mandhana came up with a stroke-filled 74 off just 63 balls in India’s 6-wicket win over West Indies in the 3rd ODI.

Finally, in the all-rounders’ rankings there has been no movement in the top 10, with Deepti Sharma still at the fourth position with 360 points, and Shikha Pandey rounding off the list in the tenth position with 252 points.

Currently, Amy Satterthwaite is at top of the batting chart in ODI format of the game while Jess Jonassen tops the bowling chart. Coming to the all-rounder department, it is Ellyse Perry at the top with a difference of almost 105 points to the second-placed Stafanie Taylor. The Windies star also placed second in the batting chart.
