Tom Banton, Chris Green Hilariously Roast Shubman Gill On His Latest Instagram Post

One of the best things about IPL is how it makes player forget their international rivalries and mingle with each other. Sharing the dressing room for just a couple of months is enough for players from around the globe to forge a strong bond between themselves.
Something similar was witnessed when Kolkata Knight Riders star Shubman Gill took to Instagram for his latest post. Soon after he made the post, his IPL teammates Tom Banton and Chris Green hilariously pulled his legs. Both Banton and Green are playing in IPL for the first time while Shubman Gill has been plying his trade in the league since 2018.
It was a sponsored post from the young batting sensation. Advertising for mobile company Oppo, Shubman Gill opened up about he overcame several ordeals to realise his dream of making it big in the game.
“Cricket was much more than a childhood game. From shifting cities for better facilities, to winning the Man Of The Series in the 2018 U-19 World Cup, the only constant was my dream to play for the the Indian cricket team and my family’s support,” he wrote.
And soon after he posted on Instagram, Banton and Green invaded the comment section to have some fun at his expense. Banton was the first to poke fun at the right-handed batsman as the England star hilariously wrote: “Thanks broooooo”. Green soon joined the fun as he wrote: “Not a single hair out of place! Well played sir.”
Meanwhile, KKR, on Wednesday, beat Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs to register their second win of the competition. Shubman Gill once again top-scored for the side, scoring 47 to help them 174 for 6. In reply, Rajasthan Royals finished their innings on 137 for 9.
