Furthermore, Finch and D’Arcy Short were able to put the highest alliance for the opening partnership. Thus, the duo scored 223 runs for the opening wicket.

Finch was ruthless in his approach, as raced to his fifty off 22 balls. In fact, the right-hander took 28 more balls to reach his 2nd T20I. The combative Aussie opener carried on the impetus, as he kept thrashing the depleted Zimbabwean bowling attack to all corners of the park.

There was no stopping Finch, as he clobbered 16 fours and ten maximums in his blistering innings. In fact, he got dismissed via hit wicket.

Meanwhile, the hosts could not put on a fight with the bat as well. Zimbabwe was able to crawl to just 129 runs in their allotted twenty overs. Andrew Tye and Ashton Agar scalped three and two wickets, respectively.

It was Australia’s second win of the series, as they had got the better of Pakistan on Tuesday. Zimbabwe will now take on Pakistan on Thursday in the fourth match of the T20I series.
