Twiiter Reacts As Nicholas Pooran & Kieron Pollard Help West Indies Reach 315

It was a good day at the office for the West Indies team with the bat on the field at Cuttack. Right from Evin Lewis, almost all the batsmen delivered the goods for the team by knocking the boundary fence more often than not. Once again, the young Nicholas Pooran stood tall for the team alongside the skipper Kieron Pollard, who gave a perfect finish in the end for the innings.
After losing the toss in the first couple of games, the Indian Skipper Virat Kohli finally managed to win the toss on Sunday to opt for bowling. However, Evin Lewis and the ever-consistent Shai Hope started things well by adding 57 runs for the first wicket. It was Ravindra Jadeja, who gave the first wicket for India by knocking down Evin Lewis.
Nicholas Pooran scored 89 runs off 64 balls:
He was quickly followed by Shai Hope when Mohammed Shami delivered a peach of the delivery to the wicket-keeper of West Indies. Later, Roston Chase and Shimron Hetmyer settled things in the middle to make things fall in place. But, just when things are going in a positive manner, Navdeep Saini removed the thorn Hetmyer to bring smiles in the Indian camp.

Following him, Roston Chase walked back when Navdeep Saini bowled a stunning yorker, which reminded Waqar Younis for the cricket fans. Despite losing Chase, Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard stood tall for West Indies to make the Indian fielders chase the leather more often than not.
Surprisingly, Kuldeep Yadav had an ordinary outing in the ongoing ODI. The left-arm wrist-spinner has conceded 67 runs in 10 overs without picking up a wicket. He was smashed for 5 sixes — 2 in his last over of the match. Alongside Kuldeep Yadav, the fast bowlers of India leaked runs with ease in the final overs.

It was a day to remember for Nicholas Pooran, as he showed his class with the bat. He never settled the bowlers in the middle and received all the accolades from the Indian stalwart players in the dugout.
Twitter Reactions for the game:

If Kedar is playing as a proper batsman in the team, what wrong did Manish Pandey do to sit out? He's a better option, an able player down the order and a brilliant fielder. The wrong pick of players from Kohli again!!! #INDvsWI

Very impressed with Navdeep Saini. Hits pace easily, good bouncer, very good yorker. Imagining him in red ball cricket….

West Indies in last 11 overs:
Runs – 127.
Wickets – 1.
Fours – 12.
Sixes – 8.•Terrific comeback by the Windies, at one stage they were doubtful for 250 also. All credit goes to Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard.
