Twitter Blown Away By Virat Kohli's Beautiful Gesture For Anushka Sharma

One nil down in the series and having their back against the wall in the second Test, India were rescued by a gem of a knock from their talismanic skipper Virat Kohli. The India captain had a rare poor outing in the first Test at Newlands but amends with a sublime knock of 153 on day three of the ongoing second test.

Kohli had joined Murali Vijay at the crease on day two when India was in a spot of bother after losing two wickets off two balls with the scoreboard reading just 28. And while wickets kept on falling at regular intervals from one end, Kohli held firm to lead India’s reply to South Africa’s first innings total of 335. The India batting mainstay finished the day on 85 and, as India reached 183 for five at stumps.

Kohli started day three in the same manner and completed his 21st century in the 67th over after taking a double off Lungi Ngidi’s first ball. The wickets continued to tumble from the other end, but the batting star held firm from his side and went on to complete his 150 with a cracking four off Morne Morkel. And as soon as he reached the milestone, he kissed his engagement ring to dedicate the knock to his wife. Kohli took off his helmet, took his chain out and then kissed the wedding ring.
