Twitter explodes after witnessing Bangladeshi players doing the 'Naagin Dance'

The two Sri Lanka versus Bangladesh encounters in the Nidahas Trophy saw two cracking games of cricket. It was T20I action at its best but it was the men in green who emerged triumphantly in both the occasions.

However, the common denominator among the two victories was the Naagin Dance celebrations. With the winning runs hit by Mushfiqur Rahim during the 3rd T20I, the pocket dynamite came up the Cobra Dance or the Naagin Dance.

The snippet of Rahim doing the dance celebration did quite a few rounds on social media the past week. Which brings us to the 6th T20I. A classic knock out encounter which would decide the finalist of the Nidahas Trophy.

After all the ebbs and flows of the game which each sides trying to end up on the winning side, it all came down to the final over. With 12 needed off 6 balls and Mahmudullah going great guns at the non-strikers’ end. The ball was handed over to Isuru Udana.

The game took an ugly turn in the second delivery as the two teams engaged in an on-field tiff due to a chaos ignited by the umpires. However, after a lot of drama, it was a Mahmudullah who struck the final blow with six required off the last two deliveries.

With the winning runs, the entire Bangladeshi squad embraced their finishers and performed the Naagin Dance much to the joy of the viewers.

This snippet of the Tigers celebrating a hard-fought victory will be remembered by the cricketing fraternity for a long time to come. The Twitter immediately was set on fire with the trending celebration from the Bangladeshis.
