Twitter Reacts as India Beat Pakistan in the Final of Blind World Cup

India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in the final of the blind world by two wickets in Sharjah and win their second successive World Cup title. India won the toss and chose to field first. Pakistan scored 308 in their 50 overs setting India a daunting target of 309 in their quota of 50 overs. This is the second consecutive time India has defeated Pakistan in a Blind World Cup final. The last time India won the World Cup was in 2014.

The Indian innings rode on Sunil Ramesh’s and Ajay Reddy’s fantastic batting which helped the Indian team achieve the target with more than one more to go. Ramesh scored 93 and Reddy scored 63 to help India defend their World Cup title.

For Pakistan, Riyasat Khan and skipper, Nisar Ali, scored 47 and 48 to help their team reach a respectable total of 308 after being asked by the Indian team to bat first.
