Twitter Lashes Out At Rishabh Pant After His Horrendous Gaffe Against Bangladesh

Of late, it seems like nothing is going in favour of Rishabh Pant. The young wicketkeeper-batsman of the Indian National Cricket Team has failed to follow the basics of the wicket-keeping, thus, ended up on the receiving end of the Indian fans. However, he is fortunate enough in reviving himself later.
Getting into the details, it was during the third ball of the 5th over when Liton Das stepped down the crease to smash Chahal out of the park. However, everything hasn’t gone down well for him, as he missed it by a yard thus being stumped out.
Liton Das scored 29:
However, luck favoured him, as Rishabh Pant failed to collect the ball behind the stumps. After a couple of close looks, the third umpire signalled it not out and the delivery was called ”No-Ball”. Liton Das, who escaped a danger smashed the free hit to the boundary and followed it up with a couple of boundaries more.
At the end of the day, Pant didn’t gather it behind the sticks. Meanwhile, Chahal cannot believe it, nor can rest of his mates but it looks like a basic mistake from Pant. As they say, don’t make such basic mistakes. However, later, he redeemed himself by affecting a run out of him.
Coming to the match, it was Rohit Sharma, who won the toss, asked Bangladesh to bat first. Though Deepak Chahar bowled a decent first over, Khaleel Ahmed was once again thrashed by the Bangladesh batsmen. Despite a couple of economical overs, Bangladesh ended up with 54 runs in powerplay overs.
Surprisingly, in the very next over, Liton Das once again got a reprive when Rohit Sharma shelled out a simple catch running back. However, his stay finally ended when Rishabh Pant displayed his skills to run out Das.
