Twitter Mercilessly Trolls England As Australia Bowl Them Out For 67

It did not take long for Australia to wrestle their way back into the third Ashes Test at Leeds. The team from Down Under was firmly on the back foot after a disappointing batting show on day one. Australia were all out for just 179 after suffering an almighty collapse. Jofra Archer took six wickets to help England bowl out Australia for the modest total.
Australia were 132 for 2 thanks to a third-wicket stand of 111 between David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne. At that stage, they were looking set to post a good total. But Archer had Warner caught behind for 61 to spark a collapse of three wickets for three runs.
Even at 173-6, honours seemed to be even, only for Archer to return once again and run through the tail. The last four wickets fell for six runs. Labuschagne was lbw to a Ben Stokes full toss after scoring 74 before Archer trapped Nathan Lyon leg before.

But on day two England threw away the advantage or were rather made to throw the advantage by Australia as they were bowled out for just 67. It is England’s lowest total against Australia since 1948 when they were all out for just 52 at the Oval. England’s lowest total in Tests is 45 which too came against their Ashes rivals.
England have been bowled out for 67!
What a performance from the Australian bowlers today, five wickets for Josh Hazlewood.#Ashes pic.twitter.com/NMDHfzmkZz

England never looked in contention to post a good total thanks to some brilliant bowling from Australia’s pacers. Josh Hazlewood was the star of the show as he picked up a well-deserved five-wicket haul. Only one batsman – Joe Denly (12) – managed to cross the double-digit mark as Australia took a handy 112-run lead.
If Australia manage to win this Test, they will retain the Ashes. Australia have not won or drawn the Ashes in England since 2001. Meanwhile, Twitter was quick to rub salt to England’s wounds. Here are some of the reactions:
27.5 overs rest for the bowlers .. highest score of 12 .. !! Well done Australia on retaining the #Ashes
