The Windies was able to surprise England and have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match Test series. The hosts won the second Test match at Antigua by 10 wickets after winning the first match by a gargantuan margin of 381 runs. Thus, it is a big win for the Windies cricket who haven’t been able to deliver the goods in the recent past.
Windies was able to skittle out the visitors for 187 runs in the first innings after Jason Holder won the toss and decided to bowl first. Kemar Roach was the pick of the Windies bowlers in the first dig as he scalped four wickets.

Windies take an impregnable lead.
On the other hand, Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow scored fifties to help their side get to a respectable score. The Windies came up with the collective batting performance in the first essay to take a crucial lead of 119 runs after they scored 306 runs.
Darren Bravo showed the resistance on the difficult pitch and scored a valiant fifty off 216 balls. Kraigg Brathwaite scored 49 and John Campbell stroked 44. Both of the Windies openers added a perfect opening partnership of 70 runs to lay down the foundation.
However, England once again could get going in their batting innings. The tourists were bundled out for a paltry score of 132 runs to give a small target of 17 runs to the hosts. Jos Buttler top-scored for the England side as he scored 24 runs.
Kemar Roach continued with his penchant of hunting down the English batsmen. Roach scalped another four-wicket haul and he was awarded the Man of the match. The Windies skipper Jason Holder once again inspired his team and scalped four wickets in the second dig. Alzarri Joseph who lost his mother before day’s play took two wickets.

West Indies cricketer Alzarri Joseph, 22, was told his mother died this morning, yet he insisted on continuing in the Test Match & has bowled brilliantly today.
Outstanding courage & commitment. ??#WIvENG pic.twitter.com/BxvWzT25lI— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 2, 2019

Alzarri Joseph looks an outstanding young quick bowler .. As much as he is doing damage to England it’s great to see West Indies producing some wonderful young talent .. #WIvENG

Darren Bravo took 340 minutes to score fifty in Antigua. 340 mins is equal to length of four innings in T20 cricket. He hit 5 sixes in an over in the CPL last year. A good example of playing according to the situation. #WIvEng

They’ve reduced England to a laughing stock. Humiliating for us, fantastic for the wonderful Caribbean people who have their Test team back as a world force again. #WIvENG pic.twitter.com/p4TssiGwXi— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 2, 2019
