Indian skipper Virat Kohli was dismissed on a duck on Saturday when he took to the crease in the second Test against England. Twitter couldn’t help but slam the Indian skipper for his poor batting display. Virat came in to bat at a crucial time for the Indian team as the hosts were lurking on the first day of the second Test.

Although Rohit Sharma looked in fine touch from the first go, he couldn’t get the help of his fellow Indian mates as Shubman Gill departed very early in the innings. Cheteshwar Pujara played a lot of deliveries but he got out to Jack Leach after being set. Indian skipper Virat Kohli walked in to bat when India were on 85-2.

Twitter Pokes Fun At Virat Kohli For His Duck

In the 21st over, Virat was ser to face English all-rounder Moeen Ali. On the second delivery of the over, Moeen Ali delivered a breathtaking delivery as even Virat couldn’t read it which left the gates opened between his bat and pad and the ball went on to hit the wickets. After the delivery, even Virat was baffled at looked in real dismay.

Twitter was clearly unhappy with the Indian skipper and a lot of Twitter users poked fun at the Indian skipper after he got dismissed on a duck for the first time by a spinner in his Test cricket history.

Team India have stabilized their batting after Virat’s wicket, thanks to a herculean effort with the bat from Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane. While Sharma scored another scintillating century, Rahane has done enough to support him from the other end. The Indian Cricket Team have gained control over the English bowlers.
