We all know that Chris Gayle doesn’t hit normal sixes. When Chris Gayle times the ball, it generally goes in the third tier of the stands or out of the ground. Gayle is a strong lad who can clear the ropes with ease. In fact, the southpaw pyrotechnics were on display in the first ODI against England at Barbados.
Gayle smashed 133 runs off just 129 balls to help his team post a gargantuan total of 360 runs. In fact, it was a comeback match for the talisman batsman after he announced his ODI retirement after playing in the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2019.

Meanwhile, Chris Gayle clobbered a dozen sixes in his blistering knocks. In fact, eight out of the 12 sixes went out of the ground as Gayle was at his best. Subsequently, the standing umpires were left furious as they had to call for the new balls on eight occasions. In fact, Gayle’s fans were delighted after he played a brilliant knock. The southpaw batsman scored three boundaries in his inning.
In fact, one six from Gayle’s bat carried for a long distance of 120 meters. The left-hander batted at the top of his game to bring his piece de resistance.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Chris Gayle’s innings:
WHAT A KNOCK.
Chris Gayle makes an incredible return to international cricket, reaching his 24th ODI hundred with a single off of Chris Woakes. It's come from exactly 100 balls.
