Jason Behrendorff rocked India with a fiery spell, taking 4 for 21 as India were all out for 118 in the ongoing second T20 International against Australia in Guwahati.

After being asked to bat first, India were to off a great start with Rohit Sharma slamming two fours off the first three balls. However, Behrendorff made a brilliant comeback by dismissing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli on the fourth and fifth delivery of the first over to leave the hosts reeling at 8 for 2. Behrendorff was not done yet as he dismissed Manish Pandey and Shikhar Dhawan too to pile more pressure on India.

Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni then steadied the ship, adding 33 runs to take India’s score over 50 but just when it looked the duo had got things under control, Adam Zampa dismissed the latter to reduce the hosts to 60 for 4. Within the next ten runs, Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were sent back too before a 33-run partnership between Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took the score over hundred.

However, India’s hopes of collecting some quick runs at the end did not materialise with Marcus Stoinis sending back Pandya in the 18th over. The Men in Blue eventually finished their innings on 118.
