Twitter Reacts as Suresh Raina Makes a Comeback in the T20I squad against South Africa

Veteran India batsman Suresh Raina has made a comeback in the T20I squad for the South Africa series after a period of one year. He last played in India colors in the T20I series against England, the third T20I of which was played on February 1. Since then, he was left out due to several reasons.

Raina has been in superb form in the recently concluded domestic T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He scored a brilliant hundred against Bengal and followed it up with two fifties against Baroda and Tamil Nadu. He guided his team Uttar Pradesh to finals of the tournament, however, lost it to Delhi.

Jaydev Unadkat, who bagged a million dollar deal in the IPL auction retained his place, while the new spinning trio of Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav came back to the limited overs squad.

India will play three T20I in the Rainbow Nation after the six-match ODI series.
