It’s fair to say that the main highlight of the game was the last over by Arshdeep Singh. The PBKS pacer shattered the hopes of MI fans and bowled exceptionally well to win the game for his side. What caught the attention of many was his two wickets in the final over. Arshdeep bowled two staggering deliveries that saw the middle stump breaking into two pieces. He bowled two exact same full balls that swung. Both Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera got themselves lost their shape and the ball went on to hit the middle stumps, clattering it two times in two balls.

Not only in the last over but Arshdeep Singh bowled exceptionally well in the game. He conceded just 11 runs and took 3 wickets in the last 2 overs and returned with the figures of 4/28.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Arshdeep Singh said that he’s enjoying his cricket and is happy that his team won. He added:

“Feels good whenever I take wickets. Right now I feel even happier as the team won. I have shortened my run-up as it helped me with the no-ball problem and I am enjoying my cricket at the moment. Danny (Morrison) you should come and stand next to me (when bowling the final over), the heartbeat is not even close to 120.”

Punjab Kings will be next seen in action when they will take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their next match on Friday (28th April).
