Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen supporting his brother Krunal Pandya after the latter broke into tears on his ODI debut for India. Krunal Pandya made his ODI debut for team India on Tuesday as the Men in Blue took on England in the first ODI of the three-match series at Pune.

Krunal was handed his ODI cap by his brother, Hardik, and Krunal couldn’t hold back his emotions before the game as he was seen pointing the cap towards the sky, dedicating it to his late father, Himanshu Pandya, who passed away earlier this year. Krunal made full use of the opportunity as he came up with a scintillating half-century.

Although Hardik failed with the bat, Krunal made sure that he makes his ODI debut worth remembering. Hardik managed to score just 1 run out of the 9 balls that he faced. Krunal stitched a century-stand with KL Rahul as he helped team India reach a fighting total of 317 runs in their 50 overs.

After the Indian innings came to a close, Krunal Pandya was seen  very emotional as he broke down in tears and sobbed while hugging Hardik Pandya. The emotional moment caught the eyes of a lot of Indian fans as both the brother had been coming off a gigantic personal tragedy.

England Get Off To A Flying Start In The Powerplay

The England Cricket Team got off to a flying start as English openers, Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy came up with a 50-run stand in the powerplay. Bairstow took the aggressive charge as he smoked 33 runs off just 28 balls until this report was written. England cruised to 57 runs in 7.4 overs as Bairstow and Roy smashed the Indian bowlers all over the park.
