England opener Jason Roy was seen venting his anger out at a water bottle after he was dismissed on a duck in the fifth T20I of the series between India and England. Roy was visibly frustrated at his dismissal on the very second delivery of the English innings. The England Cricket Team won the toss and elected to field first as team India went with the opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

The Indian Cricket Team got off to a stormy start as they piled up 60 runs for the loss of no wickets in the first powerplay. Rohit Sharma kept his firepower game ticking throughout his innings as he smashed his 22nd T20I half-century and scored 64 runs for the Men in Blue when it mattered to team India.

After Rohit’s departure, Suryakumar Yadav began from where he left in the last game. His attacking game was soaring at an unbelievable rate when he was caught by Chris Jordan and Jason Roy on the boundary ropes. Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli batted until the end to help team India reach a total of 224 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets.

Team India got off to a scintillating start in the second innings as Bhuvneswar Kumar bowled Jason Roy on the very second delivery of the innings. Jason Roy has been England’s top-scorer in this series so far. After he was dismissed, the opener batsman was seen venting his frustration at a water bottle.

England Get Back On Stable Footings After Roy’s Early Dismissal

The England Cricket Team bounced back after losing Roy quite early in the innings. Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler provided stability to the English innings as they kept attacking the Indian bowlers on a consistent basis. Consequently, England managed to score 62 runs for the loss of 1 wicket at the end of the first powerplay.

The fifth and final game of the series will prove to be the decider. So far, four games have taken place in the series wherein, the visitors have won a couple of games while the Indian Cricket Team won another couple.
