India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, on Friday, castled Australia skipper Tim Paine with a fine delivery on day two of the ongoing third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Paine came out to bat after Australia lost three quick wickets in the morning. After resuming the day on 166 for 2, the hosts found themselves reeling at 249 for 5 when Paine joined Steve Smith in the middle.

Ravindra Jadeja gave India the first breakthrough when he dismissed Marnus Labuschagne for 91. The wicket ended the 100-run stand between Labuschagne and Smith. Matthew Wade did not last long either as he too fell to Jadeja for 13. Cameron Green, who had played a fighting knock of 45 in the second innings of the MCG Test, was the next to depart.

Bowling with the second new ball, Jasprit Bumrah sent back Green for a 21-ball duck. The India pacer then capitalised on the new ball again by sending back Paine for just 1. It was a fine setup from Jasprit Bumrah as after bowling three consecutive deliveries outside the off stump, he brought one in to take the bails off.

Paine was expecting an outgoing delivery and perhaps that was the reason why his feet was nowhere near the line of the ball. The ball found the gap between bat and pad before hitting the top of off-stump.

Here is a clip of the delivery from Jasprit Bumrah:

As far as the game is concerned, Australia were on 292 for 7 in the 100th over at the time of compiling this report. After scoring just 10 runs in the first two Tests, Smith has regained his form and was batting on 102 while giving him company was Mitchell Starc.
