Indian and Mumbai Indians pace-bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah once again proved to be the go-to guy for the defending champions as he knocked over RCB skipper Virat Kohli to claw Mumbai Indians back in the game.

With the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli stitching a brilliant third-wicket-stand, Mumbai Indians desperately needed a breakthrough and they got that in the form of Virat Kohli for a 29-ball 33.

It all happened on the third ball of the 13th over when Virat Kohli shuffled way too across his stumps and missed a straight bowl by Bumrah.

Kohli’s innings was a series of two contrasting halves.

He started off in blazing fashion in the powerplay as he smoked four boundaries in his first 12 deliveries.

But once the powerplay got over and the spinners came in the attack, familiar issues started for Virat as he managed just 13 runs off 17 deliveries before he eventually got dismissed.

Kohli’s wicket has triggered a collapse as RCB has lost the wicket of a set Glenn Maxwell and Shahbaz Ahmed and it’s all down to AB de Villiers to get past the finishing line.
