The high-flying Prithvi Shaw [39 off 22 balls] was for once floored during the encounter between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings after he was struck on his crown jewels by the pacy Riley Meredith.

Prithvi Shaw’s innings eventually came to an end as Harpreet Brar knocked him over with a delivery that turned at the last moment to beat his attempted inside-out drive and dislodge his stumps.

But by then, he and Dhawan had already laid a platform for another win for DC, which the latter and Steve Smith are carrying forward brilliantly as the 2020 runners-up have already racked up 103 runs in the 12th over in their run-chase of 166.
