Sydney Sixers’ Sean Abbott gave the ongoing Big Bash League 2021 another highlight-reel moment as he took an amazing diving one-handed catch to dismiss Hobart Hurricanes’ opener Chris Lynn in the ongoing match in Sydney on December 29, 2021. Even David Warner couldn’t keep himself from reacting to the same.
It was the 4th over of the Brisbane Heat innings, and Ben Dwarshuis bowled a good length delivery to which Hurricanes’ opener Chris Lynn came down the track and powerfully hit the ball through the off-side.
Lynn had expected the ball to reach the mid-odd- cover boundary in no time, but Sean Abbott had other ideas. He dived full length to his right and pouched the ball out of the air in a one-handed effort. The official Twitter handle of KFC Big Bash League tweeted about the catch. They also labeled the catch taken by Abbott as an unbelievable one.

Even Chris Lynn couldn’t believe his rotten luck as Abbott celebrated the catch with his Sixers’ teammates.
