Rajasthan Royals new-ball bowler Chetan Sakariya has lead an incredible recovery for his side in the ongoing clash against the Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai after a threatening phase of play. Chetan Sakariya made a couple of breakthroughs in his third over, including sending back the Super Kings’ ace batsman Suresh Raina. Raina, who made 18 before walking back, drove the ball straight to mid-off while looking to go beyond that fielder.

Chetan Sakariya came back for his third over in the 13th and struck in the second ball by dismissing Ambati Rayudu, ending his 17-ball 27 cameo. The left-arm pacer struck in the second-last delivery as Suresh Raina wanted to get a boundary off an otherwise sedate over. Instead, he drove the ball straight to Chris Morris, who clung on to a reasonably difficult chance.

Rajasthan Royals made a fairly decent start after electing to bowl first, considering the dew factor later in the game. The Royals kept making breakthroughs without letting the Super Kings’ batsmen convert their promising starts to big scores. The likes of Faf Du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, and Raina all got starts; however, they threw it away on a high-scoring ground.

Below is the clip of Suresh Raina’s dismissal as Chris Morris and Chetan Sakariya joined hands to cause it:
