Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Joss Buttler were involved in a verbal fight as the latter departed after a scintillating knock in the final T20I of the five-match series between India and England. Indian skipper Virat Kohli lost the toss once again and was invited to bat first by Eoiu Morgan.

However, the skipper led from the front as he took a brilliant decision of opening the batting alongside vice-captain Rohit Sharma. Both, Rohit and Virat got India off to a flying start as the Men in Blue cruised to 60 runs in the first powerplay for the loss of no wickets in the first powerplay.

The Indian batsmen carried on the batting procession at a high rate as Suryakumar Yadav followed Rohit Sharma at the crease and once again played a quick-fire knock for the Men in Blue. Virat and Hardik Pandya carried the Indian innings forward as they batted together until the end to take India to a scintillating total of 224 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in their 20 overs.

Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan brought the counter-attack back from the English side as both the batsmen scored scintillating half-centuries to put team India in a state of worry. However, Jos Buttler was dismissed in the 13th over of the game as he was caught by Hardik Pandya off Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the long-off boundary. As Buttler walked back to the dugout, Indian skipper Virat Kohli made sure he was treated by Virat in a fine manner as both the players were involved in a verbal battle.

Team India Make A Massive Comeback In The Final Overs

After the dismissal of Jos Buttler, the Indian Cricket Team bounced back in the game and applied immense pressure on the visitors. Malan and Buttler had come up with a fighting partnership but the Indian bowlers bounced back in the middle-overs. Jonny Bairstow also departed in the 15th over as he was caught by Suryakumar Yadav off Shardiul Thakur.

The final game of the series will also be a series decider as the five-match series is now poised on equal footing with 2 games each having been won by both the sides. After the T20I series, a three-match ODI series will be played between the two sides at Pune from March 23-March 28.
