For some years, India’s talismanic wicket-keeper batsman, MS Dhoni has been a symbol of calm and composure on the field. Very early in his career, he was tagged as ‘Captain Cool’ for his temperament under pressure cooker situation.
Moreover, in the 2nd T20I at Centurion, viewers glued to the television saw a different side of Dhoni. MS gave a mouthful to Manish Pandey at the other end during the final over of the inning, using some popular Indian explicit words.

This created quite a buzz on social media with some memes and jokes being manufactured using the clip. In an interesting turn of events, there exists a school of thought which professes that Dhoni did not abuse Pandey for not paying attention to him.

During the final over of the innings, India was looking to maximize their total. Pandey, who took strike the first ball of the Paterson over, slogged towards midwicket and kept looking at the deep fielder. Dhoni, who was interested in a double, got agitated at Pandey for his attention deficiency.

“Oyee.. Bhootni ke, Idhar dekh le, bole they na idhar dekhne. Udhar kya dekh raha hai. Main Idhar khada hu na Batting Kar Raha,” MS Dhoni screamed in Hindi. This can bhi loosely translated to ‘(Hey, where are you looking? Look here, why are you looking there… I am standing at batting end)’.
However, the homonymic nature of the word ‘Bhootni Ke’ and popular Hindi expletive ‘Bh*sd*k*’ caused all the confusion amongst the spectators.

Following this, MSD gave us a treat, taking us back in time, with another vintage flourish at the back end of the inning. MS Dhoni brought up his second half-century in T20I cricket by scoring 17 of the last five deliveries of the over.
