The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018–19 is the 17th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. However, Karnataka is the defending champions.

It is consisted of 37 domestic cricket teams of India, started on 19 September 2018, ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.

In April 2018, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reinstated Bihar for the competition, bringing the total teams to 29.

In July 2018, the BCCI increased the total number of teams to 37, with the addition of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Sikkim, and Uttarakhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Baroda vs Mumbai, Round 1, Elite Group A:

In the match between Baroda and Mumbai played at KSCA Cricket (2) Ground, Alur, Mumbai won the game by nine wickets.

However, Krunal Pandya of Baroda played a fabulous inning of 85 runs. Mumbai bowler, Dhawal Kulkarni bagged with four wickets. Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw played some fine cricketing shots and scored 98 runs off 66 balls in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Brief Score: Mumbai won the match (Prithvi Shaw 98, Ajinkya Rahane 79; Krunal Pandya 1/34) to Baroda (Krunal Pandya 85, Yusuf Pathan 40; Dhawal Kulkarni 4/39) by nine wickets.

Goa vs Maharashtra, Round 1, Elite Group A

In the match between Goa and Maharashtra played at KSCA Cricket (3) Ground, Alur, Maharashtra won the match by 5 wickets. Maharashtra batsman Jay Pande played a brilliant knock of 117 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Brief Score: Maharashtra won the match (Jay Pande 117, Ruturaj Gaikwad 67; Amogh Sunil Desai 2/39) to Goa (Amogh Sunil Desai 65, Keenan Vaz 38; Samad Fallah 2/42)  by five wickets.

Himachal Pradesh vs Punjab, Round 1, Elite Group A

In the match between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab played at KSCA Cricket Ground, Alur, Punjab won the match by 35 runs. Punjab batsman Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century and Siddarth Kaul picked up four wickets. Himachal Pradesh skipper, Prashant Chopra missed his hundred with just short of five runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Brief Score: Punjab won the match (Shubman Gill 115, Yuvraj Singh 48; Rishi Dhawan 3/50) to Himachal Pradesh (Prashant Chopra 95, Ankush Bains 56; Siddarth Kaul 4/55) by 35 runs.

Kerala vs Andhra, Round 1, Elite Group B

In the match between Kerala and Andhra played at  Palam A Stadium, Delhi, Andhra won the match by 7 runs. Andhra batsman Bodapati Sumanth scored the highest runs for his team and Karn Sharma bagged with three in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Brief Score: Andhra won the match (Bodapati Sumanth 79, Dwaraka Ravi Teja 44; Sudhesan Midhun 3/56) to Kerala (Sachin Baby 57, Jalaj Saxena 46; Karn Sharma 3/37) by 7 runs. 

Madhya Pradesh vs Hyderabad, Round 1, Elite Group B

In the match between Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad played at Palam B Stadium, Delhi, Hyderabad won the match by seven wickets. Hyderabad batsman Tanmay Agarwal scored the highest score and Mohammed Siraj picked up three for their team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Brief Score: Hyderabad won the match (Tanmay Agarwal 83, Rohit Rayudu 78; Rameez Khan 2/34) to Madhya Pradesh (Rajat Patidar 49, Saransh Jain 45; Mohammed Siraj 3/42) by seven wickets.

Uttar Pradesh vs Saurashtra, Round 1, Elite Group B

In the match between Uttar Pradesh and Saurashtra at  Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, Saurashtra won the match by 25 runs. Saurashtra wicket-keeper batsman Sheldon Jackson played a fabulous inning of 107 runs along with Robin Uthappa scoring 97 runs. Uttar Pradesh bowler Shivam Mavi bagged a five-wicket haul.

Brief Score: Saurashtra won the match (Sheldon Jackson 107, Robin Uthappa 97; Shivam Mavi 5/73) to Uttar Pradesh (Akshdeep Nath 62, Priyam Garg 38; Jaydev Unadkat 3/42) by 25 runs.

Services vs Tripura, Round 1, Elite Group C

In the match between Services and Tripura at  MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Services won the match by seven wickets by VJD method. Services bowler Diwesh Pathania bagged with three wickets and R K Singh scored the highest runs for Services.

Brief Score: Services won the match (R K Singh 46, Rajat Paliwal 21; Rana Dutta 2/28) to Tripura (Bishal Ghosh 21, Harmeet Singh 19; Diwesh Pathania 3/28) by seven wickets.

Arunachal Pradesh vs Mizoram, Round 1, Plate

In the match between Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram at GS Patel Stadium, Nadiad, Arunachal Pradesh won the match by four wickets. Mizoram batsman Taruwar Kohli scored a brilliant century and Arunachal Pradesh batsman Samrath Seth also scored a hundred for his team.

Bihar vs Nagaland, Round 1, Plate

In the match between Bihar and Nagaland at  Shastri Maidan, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Bihar won the match by eight wickets. Bihar batsman Babur Kumar scored a massive century scoring 121 runs and Nagaland batsman Nitesh Lochab played a good knock of 79 runs. 

Brief Score: Bihar won the match (Babur Kumar 121, Keshav Kumar 76; Imliwati Lemtur 1/42) to Nagaland (Nitesh Lochab 79, Imliwati Lemtur 45; Samar Quadri 3/35) by eight wickets. 

Manipur vs Puducherry, Round 1, Plate:

In the match between Manipur and Puducherry at  Moti Bagh Stadium, Vadodara, Puducherry won the match by eight wickets. Manipur bowler, Sarag Udheshi only managed to pick up four wickets for his team and Shashank Singh scored unbeaten 63 runs.
