Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018: Schedule for Knockout Matches

Much like every time, Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 has given the best platform for the youngsters to showcase their skills. Meanwhile, cricketers have taken the game by a storm to deliver the thunderous performances for their side. However, the tournament has reached out to the business end with the knockout matches are on its way.

Schedule for knockout matches

In total, eight teams reached the knock-outs from four groups to play four Quarter-finals in the knock-out stage. The team that wins in the quarter-finals will get the ticket to semi-finals of the tournament.

From Elite Group A and Group B, Mumbai, Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra and Hyderabad made it to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Jharkhand from Elite C and Bihar from Plate group made it to the next level.

The first Quarterfinal is set to be played at Just Cricket Academy when Mumbai locks horns with Bihar on October 14th. It is expected that Rohit Sharma will play for Mumbai team in the knockout stage.

Coming to the second quarterfinal, Delhi will lock horns against Haryana at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on October 14th. Gautam Gambhir will be the key for Delhi in the high-pressure match.

The third quarterfinal will see the face-off between Jharkhand and Maharashtra on October 15th at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Here, MS Dhoni will be the star attraction in this game.

Meanwhile, the final game in the knockout stage will be the southern Derby with Hyderabad taking on Andhra at Just Cricket Academy, Bangalore. It is also scheduled to be played on October 15th as well.

October 14th:

Mumbai vs Bihar, 1st Quarter-Final – Just Cricket Academy Ground, Bengaluru

Delhi vs Haryana, 2nd Quarter-Final – M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

October 15th:

Mon Maharashtra vs Jharkhand, 3rd Quarter-Final – M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

Andhra vs Hyderabad, 4th Quarter-Final – Just Cricket Academy Ground, Bengaluru
