Cricket is often termed as the gentlemen game, but it has got it errors as well. The latest scenario to fall under it is the situation that took place during the match between Madhya Pradesh and Delhi in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 in Palam. It was Naman Ojha, who involved in the spat with the umpires.

The incident took place when the official erred in his decision. The unhappy Naman Ojha, who is the skipper of Madhya Pradesh halted the game for 20 minuted while arguing with the umpire regarding the decision.

As it happened:

Initially, Nitish Rana, who was batting brilliantly with a hundred to his name was in the question of being out. The solid appealing from the bowler and the fielders made umpire to raise his finger.

However, after was batsman shown his anger to the umpire, the decision got changed to Not-Out which left Naman Ojha, the captain of Madhya Pradesh furious. He never let himself calm while arguing with the umpire thus making the things worse.

The notable editor of ABP news covered the pictures of the spat and posted it via his social media account. He quoted it was an ugly scene in the middle, especially, with the national selector being present during the match.

”Naman Ojha fights with umpires and match referee. Stops play for 20 minutes at Palam during Vijay Hazare Trophy. Unhappy that Nitish Rana was declared out only to be reversed at batsman’s behest. Ugly scenes. Natl selector present,” his tweet read.


Coming to the match scenario, it was Delhi, who won the toss and asked Madhya Pradesh to bowl first. Unmukt Chand and Gautam Gambhir started the things well but got dismissed to the identical score of 41 to their name.

However, Dhruv Shorey and Nitish Rana stood tall in the middle to stitch 147-run partnership for the 3rd wicket. Shorey scored 67 while Nitish Rana finished with 107 to his name. They finished with 284 runs while Madhya Pradesh is yet to bat.
