Australia’s legendary spinner Shane Warne asked whether Indian skipper Virat Kohli is a better batsman than former greats like Sachin Tendulkar or Brian Lara. Warne said it is a tough question and asked his followers the same question while he is contemplating his decision. Meanwhile, Shane Warne said Sir Vivian Richards was the best batsman after the legendary Sir Don Bradman.

On the other hand, it was always a battle between Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara for the best batsman of the world. Meanwhile, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is rewriting the history books. Kohli was once again at his best in the third ODI against Australia at Ranchi. The talisman batsman scored his 41st ODI hundred which was his 66th International century. However, his hundred went in vain as India lost the match by 32 runs.

Kohli is definitely more consistent than any other batsman.

In fact, there is no doubt that Virat Kohli is the most consistent batsman in the modern game. Kohli has scored runs all over the three formats and he is currently the best batsman in the world.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is doing a fine job with the bat. Kohli is scoring runs in almost every match and his hunger for runs is never satiated. The talisman batsman is 30 years old and he is expected to break all the records of the game.

On the other hand, it is prudent not to compare different eras of the game. The conditions were different and so were the opposition bowlers, so it makes sense that we take these factors into consideration before drawing conclusions.

Shane Warne took to his a Twitter account to share his post. Warne post read as, “I just got asked if I thought @imVkohli is better than @BrianLara or @sachin_rt
Let me think about that and come back to you I said. @ivivianrichards to me was the best batsman after Bradman but in modern times mmmm. Tough one! Thoughts followers whilst I contemplate?
