Virat Kohli Creates History, Becomes Fastest To 11,000 ODI Runs

Virat Kohli, on Sunday, added yet another feather to his illustrious cap. The India skipper became the fastest to 11,000 runs in ODIs. Kohli once again broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record to achieve this incredible milestone. He also became the first player to score all his 11,000 runs for the same team. The other players, who have achieved this feat, also scored for other ICC teams like World XI, Asia XI or Africa XI.
Kohli could not have asked for a better match to achieve the stunning record. He achieved the feat in the game against Pakistan at Old Trafford. Kohli had come out to bat with 10,943 runs to his name. He achieved the milestone when he hit Hasan Ali for a four in the 45th over.
