On what was speculated to be a thrilling game ended without being a ball bowled as the third and final T20 International between India and Australia at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad was abandoned due to wet outfield, despite no rain in this part of the city.

Close to 30,000-odd spectators returned home with disappointed faces as they could not see their favourite stars in actions. However, soon after the game was called off, India skipper Virat Kohli delivered some much-needed good news for the fans. Just hours after the game was abandoned, Kohli took to Twitter to say that he would have liked to play before stating that the fans would have the chance to see him and his teammates in action when they take on Bollywood actors in an exhibition football match.

The Indian cricket stars will face off against Bollywood stars in a football match at Mumbai’s Andheri Sports Complex on October 15 (Sunday). Kohli will lead All Heart FC while Abhishek Bachchan will captain All Stars FC.

“Would have loved to play tonight, but you can watch us at All Heart FC take on the All Stars FC for a game of Football on the 15th of October Live at @StarSportsIndia or you can book your tickets now -,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Celebrity Clasico match is in its third edition. Last year, it ended 2-2. In a video released by Star Sports ahead of the much-awaited game, Kohli was seen saying: “This time in Celebrity Clasico, my Bollywood friends will come to know that here stamina wins over style. And there are no re-takes in football.”

“Keep yourselves free to watch the Celebrity Clasico where my team All Heart FC take on my Bollywood friends All Stars FC on 15th October 6.30 PM onwards only on the Star Sports network and Hotstar,” he had added.
