Virat Kohli, the current captain of the Indian cricket team, has been named as the only cricketer to feature in the Top 100 list of richest sports stars, as per the latest list released by Forbes aa far as highest-earning athletes list for the year 2020 is concerned.

The Indian captain, whose total earnings have been reported a whopping $26 Million, gets around $24 Million from the long list of endorsements he endorses followed by $2 Million from salaries.

Virat endorses a plethora of brands and it is the major source of his income. The Indian captain endorses brands like Hero, Uber, American Tourister, Philips India, Too Yumm, Himalaya, Vicks, Volini, Royal Challenge, Audi, Wrogn and One8 by PUMA, Manyavar and Mobile Premier League to name a few.

Virat Kohli has considerably improved his ranking in the Forbes list. The Indian captain was ranked at the 83rd position back in 2018 which fell to the 100th in 2019. The 2020 lost has seen Virat Kohli improve his position to number 66th. The list is, of course, headed by Tennis sensation Roger Federer, who earned a whopping $106 Million during the last calendar year.

Virat Kohli has impinged himself as one of the greatest batsmen and the most consistent performer in modern-day cricket and the above recognition is a glaring reflection of the aforementioned fact. Having made his debut back in 2008, Virat Kohli is the fastest to rack up more than 20000 international runs and at the age of 31, he already has 70 international hundreds to his name. He is also the only cricketer in the world to average in excess of 50 across all the three formats of the game.
