Team India skipper Virat Kohli must be a very satisfied individual now. His side has had a dominant run across formats especially in red-ball cricket. India recently scripted history when they routed Bangladesh in the historic day-night Test at Eden Gardens in Kolkata by an innings and 46 runs to win the series 2-0. As a result, they have 360 points in their kitty as they continue to hold the top spot in the ICC World Test Championship.

India banked on the dominance from the fast bowlers to knock over the Bangla Tigers. The fast bowlers accounted for all the 19 wickets that fell with Ishant Sharma leading the charge. Virat Kohli & Co bowled out Bangladesh for 106 and 195 in the first and second innings respectively before posting 347 for nine in reply to the visitors 106. Kohli slammed his 27th Test hundred and broke a plethora of records.

Virat Kohli in love with conditioning sessions

The Men in Blues will now gear up for the three-match T20I series against West Indies followed by the same number of ODIs. The squad which witnesses the return of few senior cricketers will be charged up to get going against a revamped Caribbean side led by all-rounder Kieron Pollard. Despite, playing regular cricketer, this Indian team has looked fully fit and less injury-prone.

There is a shift in culture change where the management has stressed more on fitness and the team has looked completely different in the last few years. Credit should be given to Virat Kohli for pushing everyone and leading from the front. In a recent tweet, Kohli hailed Ravindra Jadeja for being one of the fittest cricketers in the side and expressed his love for conditioning sessions alongside him.
