With no action going on at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic, India skipper Virat Kohli and his former IPL teammate Kevin Pietersen recently went live together on Instagram. A number of cricketers have been doing live session in recent times as they try out different activities to keep themselves busy.

The likes of Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah also did live sessions on Instagram. The interaction between Virat Kohli and Pietersen was an entertaining one. The former IPL teammates spoke on a number of topics ranging from the India skipper’s career, IPL as well as his likes and dislikes.

During the interaction, Pietersen also asked Virat Kohli to name his favourite cricket commentator. Pietersen then hilariously tried to convince Virat Kohli so that he can call him his favourite. However, Virat Kohli went on to snub the former England skipper to pick a different man.

“Be careful how you answer this, because, this could end badly for you. Your favourite commentator?” Pietersen told Kohli.

In reply, Virat Kohli said: “My favourite commentator is (pauses)…it is easy. It is not you, come on. My favourite commentator is (pauses)… Nasser (Hussain).”

When the India star said Nasser, Pietersen interrupted and said, “That’s perfect. Too long to answer your question. Thank you, me. That is fine. Perfect.”

The batting maestro also revealed that he likes Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi and explained the reason behind it too.

“I love his (Ronaldo) work ethic and ability to deflect all the crap on the outside,” said the 31-year old.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has not played since the tour of New Zealand where he failed miserably in the Tests and ODIs. The right-hander would be looking to hit the ground running whenever the action resumes.
