SA vs IND 2018: Virat Kohli and Co. Leave for South Africa Along with WAGs

Team India, led by Virat Kohli, left for the tour of South Africa on Thursday as the first Test begins on 5^th January in Cape Town. India completed a historic home season after whitewashing Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20 series and bringing an end to a dominant 12 months at home when they won 37 matches in a calendar year second best to Australia’s 38 which they achieved in 2003.

India has never won a Test series in South Africa in the last 25 years. Team India’s coach Ravi Shastri and captain Virat Kohli are very optimistic about this tour and feel India can create history this time around. However, to create history, some of the Indian team’s players have taken their lady luck along on tour.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married early this month, and Anushka has travelled along with the Team to the Rainbow nation. Other cricketers who have taken their families along are Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rohit Sharma. Here’s a video of the team and their families at the airport.
