Off late, the Indian cricket is all about the debuts for the youngsters. The latest in the block is Prithvi Shaw, who already started hunting the record books. Apart from Prithvi Shaw, the other sensation for India is Rishabh Pant, who is marking his presence with some fine strokeplay. Meanwhile, the India skipper Virat Kohli showers words of praise on the youngsters.

The 18-year-old prodigy has been sensational, who knocked century in Rajkot and then displayed his skills in Hyderabad as well. Rishabh Pant, on the other end, missed two centuries on a trot.

The Indian skipper highlighted the fact that the conditions aren’t tough against the Windies team. But, he added the Test cricket always looks after the player’s positivity and the skills, which were executed to the perfection by the youngsters.

Concluding the topic, Virat Kohli added he is pretty much happy for the youngsters for making their chance count in the recently-concluded series. The words from the skipper seem like tickets for Shaw and Pant to Australia are already confirmed.

“I know the conditions were not as challenging, but in Test cricket, the first and most important thing is confidence and understanding that you can score runs at this level. From that point of view, [I am] very happy that these guys have taken their chances so well,” Kohli said in Sunday’s presser.

A selection headache for Australian tour:

Meanwhile, the selection headache has furtherly took the boost with all the players performing exceptionally well. However, the main areas to cover the base for the team is the third opener and second wicketkeeper for the team.

Mayank Agarwal and Murali Vijay have to fight tooth and nail for the third opener slot. Meanwhile, the second wicketkeeper is trickier one with Dinesh Karthik, Parthiv Patel, Srikar Bharat and recovered Saha is in the ranks.
