Virat Kohli Lauds Sachin Tendulkar's Message For The Nation

India skipper, Virat Kohli, lauded the initiative of batting legend – Sachin Tendulkar, where he urged the nation to turn into a sports-loving one. Here is what Kohli wrote to Sachin’s message for the country –

Sachin had to send his message on social media platform after he could not deliver his maiden speech in Parliament. Tendulkar decided to give his message on the very next day, though.

Everyone has lauded his message and he is receiving praises from all over. Kohli was one of those to laud the Master Blaster.

Both Kohli and Tendulkar share a good rapport. Right from the day Sachin retired from international cricket, Kohli was marked as his successor. In his nine-year-old limited-overs career, Kohli has come close to Tendulkar’s record. If he continues to play the same way, he could very well end up as the highest run scorer in the history of ODI cricket.

In Test cricket though, Virat Kohli is yet to achieve the stature of Sachin Tendulkar. Though he has a good record on foreign soil as well, he is yet to score in England, a place which is considered to a barometer of success for all batsmen.

Team India will travel to England next year for three ODIs, three T20Is and five Test matches.
