Indian skipper Virat Kohli, just like everyone else, is thrilled by the spirited comeback scripted by the duo of Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the second ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
And, why won’t he?
Chasing 276 to win, Team India looked dead and buried when Wanindu Hasaranga dismissed Krunal Pandya with the score reading 7.193.
But, Deepak Chahar’s brilliant counter-attacking 69* off 82 balls and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s calm-and-collected 28-ball 19* helped India script one of their finest ODI victories in recent times.
How Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar approached the situation was a clear reflection of the mental strength of the current Indian players.
And, Kohli, just like each and every Indian cricket fan, is in awe of it.
Kohli took to his official Twitter account to congratulate the Shikhar Dhawan-led unit for how they pulled off the game from a seemingly hopeless situation.
Virat had special words of praise for Deepak Chahar and Suryakumar Yadav for their brilliant knocks.
Virat Kohli Reacts To Team India’s Win In The 2nd ODI vs Sri Lanka At Colombo:
”Great win by the boys. From a tough situation to pull it off was an amazing effort. Great to watch. Well done DC and Surya. Tremendous knocks under pressure” wrote Kohli.

Suryakumar Yadav may have not been able to take his side past the finishing line but during his 44-ball 55, he once again displayed just why he is revered as a 360-degree player.
And for once, the tail wagged the right way ?
A remarkable win for India after being 160-6 at one point.
Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar put on an unbeaten 84 for the eighth wicket to take India home.#<!---->S<!---->L<!---->v<!---->I<!---->N<!---->D p<!---->i<!---->c<!---->.<!---->t<!---->w<!---->i<!---->t<!---->t<!---->e<!---->r<!---->.<!---->c<!---->o<!---->m<!---->/<!---->7<!---->I<!---->R<!---->2<!---->E<!---->R<!---->0<!---->l<!---->I<!---->t

He was eventually pinned plumb in front by Lakshan Sandakan but Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar ensured that his knock did not go in vain as the duo put on an unbeaten 84-run-stand to help India take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
