Virat Kohli-led RCB Announce Coaching Staff For IPL 2020

The King, Virat Kohli, who is known for his incredible consistency in International Cricket across the formats, all of a sudden hits low, when he dons Royal Challengers Bangalore Jersey during Indian Premier League. Though his aggression and Passion remains the same, unfortunately, something or the other goes against him. Now, the Virat Kohli-led RCB team has announced their support staff for IPL 2020.
There have been tremendous changes in the dugout with out-and-out fresh faces. Previously, RCB let go head coach Gary Kirsten and bowling coach Ashish Nehra. Simon Katich, who was with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), replaced Kirsten as the head coach. Katich used to be the supporting coach of KKR but now he took main role for RCB.
Mike Hesson takes Team Director role:
Mike Hesson has been appointed as RCB Director, Cricket Operations. He was the second preferred choice for India during the recently-concluded head coach role appointment. Mike Hesson lost it to Ravi Shastri, who was asked to continue by the board for his achievements in the recent past.
The trio of Kohli, Katich and Hesson, would be working together from next IPL with a hope to change the fortunes of RCB, who have so far not been able to perform on expected lines in the cash-rich league.
And also, the former Team India trainer Shanker Basu has made a return to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He has been appointed as the strength and conditioning coach of the franchise for the upcoming season of IPL.
Apart from Basu, Adam Griffith has been appointed the bowling coach. Meanwhile, Sridharan Sriram has been named the batting and spin bowling coach, Evan Speechly has been appointed the physio, Malolan Rangarajan has been named head of scouting. And, Soumyadeep Pyne has been recruited as the team manager.
