Virat Kohli Names The Player He Would Never Sledge

Virat Kohli and sledging go hand-in-hand. The India superstar is known for his aggressive attitude on the field and it would not be wrong to say that he is the most animated character in the game today. In fact, time and again, he has said that being aggressive brings the best out of him.

In his career so far, Virat Kohli has probably sledged each team and there is no doubt that he would continue to do so. But there is one player that Virat Kohli would never sledge and he himself revealed the name of the player on Thursday while interacting with his former IPL teammate Kevin Pietersen on Instagram chat.

Virat Kohli said that he would never sledge his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate and former South Africa captain AB de Villiers. The 31-year old said that he can’t even think of sledging AB de Villiers since he knows him so well.

“I will never sledge AB. I have known him so well. I can’t think of being in his face. We all need a bit of spice to be in that zone but not with guys you know so well,” said Virat Kohli.

Well, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers’ friendship is well known. Over the years the duo have never hidden their admiration and respect for each other. Whenever the two are interviewed, they always put the other on a higher pedestal. Time and again, the India star has called de Villiers the best batsman in the world while the South African superstar reciprocates by saying the same.
