Team India skipper and batting mainstay Virat Kohli has been on the record-breaking spree in the 2017 calendar year which has subsequently marked to an end owing to the impressive form he has been in the traditional format.

Pertinently, Kohli is averaging over 50 across formats which have set an example in the modern-day cricket.

The 29-year-old right-handed batsman Kohli has been in rollicking form – to score runs at will from time and time again.

After Kohli started off the three-match Test series with a duck at iconic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata when Suranga Lakmal bowled a devastating spell to strangulate the hosts, the former returned with a bang.

In Nagpur, Kohli smashed a double-hundred before registering another double century at the home ground.
