Indian prodigy batsman Prithvi Shaw has stated that skipper Virat Kohli tries to comfort a newcomer in the India National Cricket Team. Shaw confirmed that Kohli says that there are no juniors-seniors in the team. The young batsman went on to make his debut against the Windies and like any other rookie player he was feeling hesitant in front of the experienced players of the team.

Meanwhile, Shaw was made to feel at home when he made an entry to the Indian dressing room for the first time. Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri gave confidence to Shaw and then the young batsman was able to shoot his questions.

Shaw is the future of Indian Cricket.

“I have learnt a lot. I mean I was a bit nervous when I first entered that (Indian) dressing room with players having 10 years of experience sitting in front of me. When the skipper and coach said that there are no seniors or juniors, you then kind of open up and irritate them with your questions,” he said.

On the other hand, Prithvi Shaw made an impressive start to his Test career. The talented batsman had scored 134 in his Test debut as he batted at the top of his game. He was awarded the Man of the series for top-scoring in the two-match series.

Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw was expected to be India’s first choice opener on the tour of Australia. However, he had to miss out on the tour Down Under after he suffered an ankle injury in the warm-up match against Cricket Australia XI.

On the other hand, Prithvi Shaw is regarded as the future of Indian cricket. He has shown the promise to do well in all the three forms of the game. Shaw will feature for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2019. Delhi Capitals will begin their IPL campaign when they will lock horns with Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 24th March.
