Virat Kohli faces the backlash.
A fan had asked Virat Kohli, “Over-rated batsman. Personally, I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians.”
Subsequently, this statement of the fan went on to irk the Indian captain. Kohli then asked the fan to get his priorities right.
Virat Kohli said, “Okay, I don’t think you should live in India then… you should go and live somewhere else no. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.”

In fact, after the inception of the Indian Premier League, the foreign players have received a lot of love in India. The likes of AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle are welcomed with open arms. Furthermore, these players have admitted they see India as their second home.
However, Virat Kohli comment has drawn a lot of flak. Therefore, the Indian skipper should be careful before making such statements.

Kohli's such a natural narrow-minded jock that this side of his comes through even in something that looks like a scripted PR moment https://t.co/5ACXHckWwV
Much the same way people of Indian origin in Australia and England cheer for India whilst enjoying the perks of being citizens of those countries. What say @imVkohli ? Please ask all NRIs to support the baggy green on your tour to Australia next month https://t.co/ZPlLWmohc9
