Virat Kohli has achieved large success on the international circuit and continues to grow as a cricketer. He has set records for himself and been compared to some of the greatest cricketers of all-time. But with the onset of the novel coronavirus pandemic everyone has dealt with a different situation which is completely new to most.
Matches have been brought to a half with safety and health being the prime concern. In normalcy, Virat Kohli would have been leading Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 but in the current scenario he is in a lockdown situation at home.

Virat Kohli: I have always focused on improving mental state and not practicing long
Virat Kohli spoke about cricket resuming in a world after the Covid-19 outbreak. He said, fortunately for him all his gym equipment are at home and he can train. Kohli also said he has always focused on practicing and improving his mental health than spending long hours at the nets. It is thus, he is in a good frame of mind, positive and happy. Kohli also said that he will be in a good position to start again from where he left once the season resumes.
“Well, fortunately I have all my gym equipment at home, so I am able to train and that’s not a problem for me. As far as the game goes, luckily, I am someone who has always been very keen on improving my mental state and not really focus on practicing long hours in the net over a period of time,” Kohli said on Star Sport’s show Cricket Connected.

“So I know, once I am in good frame of mind and I am keeping myself positive and happy, just looking forward in life, whenever I return to the game, I know I will be in good position to start again from where we left.”
Kohli and his wife Anushka have also donated to the PM CARES fund and towards the Mumbai police for their fight against the pandemic.
