A picture uploaded on Instagram was enough for India captain Virat Kohli to pay tribute to his New Zealand counter-part Kane Williamson. No one hates Kane Williamson. His personality topped with sheer humility and calmth makes him one of the most loved characters on the international circuit. Add Virat Kohli to the list.
Kohli and Williamson are like ‘fire and ice’. No match in personality but both top-class servants of the game. If Kohli likes to be aggressive and draws ire from the fans and cricket fraternity for showing his passion for the game through his aggression, Williamson is light-hearted, takes things with ease, and does not reacts even if he loses a World Cup in the most unconvincing manner, which required some taking to be justified.
Virat Kohli: Love our chats, Good man
Virat Kohli gives it his all in a match and does not leaves a stone unturned. Even if he is not batting, Kohli lifts the morale of the side, and has often been caught on camera asking fans to cheer ‘India, India’! That is the calibre of the man, who has achieved so much in international cricket, but still hasn’t got enough off it.
There is no doubt that Kohli is fond of his opposite number Williamson. The picture, topped with caption, tells a 1000 words about his fondness for the Kiwi star. Kohli uploaded a black and white picture of them walking through a corridor in a conversation before a toss off a Test match. He captioned the picture as ‘love our chats. Good man,’ tagging the official Instagram account of Kane Williamson along with the picture.
When India toured New Zealand earlier this year the duo were captured sharing camaraderie near the ropes during the fifth T20I. Both the skippers had rested themselves for the match and were seen engaged in a candid conversation.
