Virat Kohli Wishes the U-19 Indian team Ahead of the World Cup

India skipper Virat Kohli, who recently got married to his lady love, Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood actress was out of action from the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka which India won convincingly under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

Kohli, who will return to the team for the upcoming tour to South Africa recently took to social media platform Twitter to wish India’s u-19 Team ahead of the World Cup.

Notably, the U-19 World Cup is scheduled to start from 13th January and will be hosted by New Zealand.

The Indian team will be led by the young sensation from Mumbai, Prithvi Shaw and will be assisted by Shubman Gill. India will start their campaign against one of the favourites Australia on 14th January.

Virat Kohli posted a picture of the boys and wrote,

“Wishing the U19 India boys all the luck for the #U19WorldCup. This is where it all started for me. Enjoy the game and express yourself. You are now a part of my #One8Crew Come on India let’s cheer for them and #ComeOutAndPlay.”

Meanwhile, India is one of the top favourites in this tournament, as they have a well-balanced side under the watchful eyes of former India captain Rahul Dravid, who is known to bring out the best from the youngsters.

On the other hand, the senior Indian team after having a successful long home season will start their overseas tour with the South Africa series starting next month.
