Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag lauded Indian women’s cricket team after they recorded their third win on the trot in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. Shafali Verma continued her tremendous run with the bat as India defeated New Zealand by 4 runs in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 on Thursday.
The Women in Blue had another low total to defend as the batswomen could only manage 133 runs in their first innings. Shafali Verma won the Player of the Match award for her explosive start of 46 runs with the bat. However, she could not convert the start into a big knock once again and perished before her half-century.
India’s middle-order didn’t perform up to their standards and they could manage only 133 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs.
