Virender Sehwag Sends Birthday Greetings To ''The Wall'' Rahul Dravid

On this day, 46 years ago, a child was born, who later took the game of cricket, as his profession and showed the real meaning of gentleman sport. Later, he went on to become a stalwart figure in India for his stunning records across the formats and also handing his services for the betterment of Indian Cricket at the world stage. Meanwhile, he turns 46 today and his dear mate Virender Sehwag came up with unique birthday wishes.

Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid shared a lot of memorable moments in between them. They played quite a few years together for India and guided India to victory with their marathon partnerships as well.

There were the cases when Virender Sehwag used to trouble the bowlers by knocking boundaries at one end with ease. While on the other end, Rahul Dravid used to make the opposition bowlers toil hard to rattle his defence. Their 410-run partnership has always been special.

However, coming to the topic, the former swashbuckling opening batsman’s tweet to Rahul Dravid was quite funny. In his tweet, he quoted saying that the walls in the house have ears to listen but the wall of Indian cricket Rahul Dravid has Pure mind and heart as well.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Deewaron Ke Bhi Kaan Hote Hain, is Deewar ka Bahut Saaf Mann Aur Hriday Bhi hai!( #TheWall too has ears, this one has a pure mind and a heart as well) A joy to have played with him and made so many wonderful memories together.”

Recently, Dravid, who handed great services for Indian National Cricket Team was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame at a brief function ahead of the final ODI between India and the West Indies Thiruvananthapuram on November 1st.

Currently, Rahul Dravid is looking after Indian junior teams. Recently, under his watchful eyes, India lifted the ICC U19 World Cup in New Zealand.
