Former India batsman, Virender Sehwag was in all smiles, as he managed to spend the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan with his two lovely sisters on Sunday.

During his playing days, Sehwag didn’t manage to spend enough rakhis with his sister. Hence it is payback time now. Sehwag, who is one of the most famous faces on Twitter took to his official handle and posted a couple of pictures with his sisters.

The caption was indeed funny. Sehwag mocked himself terming “Ganja” due to his shortage of hair.

Meanwhile, Sehwag also wished everyone a very Happy Raksha Bandhan.

“Celebrating the wonderful inseparable bond that is Raksha Bandhan. With my lovely sisters Anju ji and Manju ji , I Ganju ji ? Wishing you all a very #HappyRakshaBhandan,” the tweet read.

People started trolling Sehwag following the hilarious posts.

Virender Sehwag was one of the most destructive batsmen of his time

Sehwag was one of the most feared batsmen during his heydays. His game was based solely on hand-eye coordination. Virender Sehwag never had a perfect technique, neither did he went to the line of the ball. All he did was, hit it through the line.

There wasn’t a single country where Sehwag hasn’t scored runs. Australia, South Africa, England and New Zealand, you name any and Sehwag had delivered everywhere. His carefree nature allowed India to prosper.

More often than not, Sehwag would get India off to flying starts even in Test matches. It ensured India got the perfect pace in the match. Sehwag always had a mentality of winning the game.

Also if the target were 500, Sehwag would never shy away from playing his natural game.

Virender Sehwag is only the 4th player in the history of the game to score a couple of triple centuries in Tests. He could have become the 1st with three triple centuries had he not got out on 293 against Sri Lanka in 2009.

Meanwhile, Sehwag is now a popular face on social media as well. He is still hitting sixes albeit in a different ground.
